Lifeway’s Explore the Bible curriculum is a fantastic resource for adult Bible study groups. It provides a comprehensive study of books of the Bible that help participants connect with the Word on a deeper level. Our Exploration Discussion Questions support that curriculum - - as a supplement, not as a replacement. Here’s how you can use Explore the Bible discussion questions to enhance your Bible study group:
1. Structured and Comprehensive
Each lesson in Lifeway's Explore the Bible is carefully structured, covering essential elements like historical context, themes, and key verses. Our supplemental discussion questions prompt thoughtful engagement with the material, helping your group understand not only the content but also the application of Scripture. They’re supplied as a pdf worksheet, and come with distribution rights - - make as many copies as you need, for use within your own church.
2. Thought-Provoking Questions
Our Exploration worksheets provide high-quality, thought-provoking questions that are designed to provoke deep reflection and meaningful discussion. These questions help participants think about what they believe and how they live out their faith.
3. Application-Focused
Each Discussion worksheet is designed with application in mind. The Application section at the bottom usually includes at least two along the lines of “What actions do I need to take as a result of today’s study?” We encourage group members to think about how the biblical truths they’re studying impact their daily lives. This helps keep the study relevant and practical.
4. Easy to Use for Leaders
The Discussion worksheets are emailed to you each month on about the 20th, and include the sheets for the following month. I like to email them to my class members on Tuesdays along with a note that says something like this:
Hi __________,
This week in Bible Study, we’ll be looking at ____________
(scriptures). Please take a look at the attached sheet and jot down
a few responses to the questions. I look forward to hearing your
thoughts on Sunday.
Blessings,
Steve
