Steve's Pick of the Month
(Last Updated August, 2026)
Every passage of Scripture tells part of one great story.
Sometimes it's easy to become so focused on the week's lesson that we miss how it fits into God's larger plan of redemption. Gospel Connections helps your class discover how each week's Scripture passage points to Christ and why it matters for everyday life through thoughtful discussion questions and meaningful conversation.
Designed to accompany Lifeway's The Gospel Project®, Gospel Connections follows the same weekly Scripture passages, making it an ideal companion resource for teachers who want to move beyond simply covering the lesson and help their class see the gospel woven throughout the Bible.
Meet Steve

For more than 35 years, I've had the privilege of teaching adult Sunday School classes, leading small-group Bible studies, and helping teachers create discussions that engage people with God's Word.
Over the years, I've become convinced of something simple: people often remember the truths they discover together far longer than the facts they simply hear.
That's why every worksheet, article, and resource at Steve's Bible Questions is built around thoughtful, Scripture-centered questions that encourage participation, deeper understanding, and practical life application.
Whether you're leading a class of five or fifty, my goal is to help you spend less time preparing and more time leading conversations that help people know Christ, grow in their faith, and live out God's Word.
If you'd like to learn more about discussion-based Bible teaching, I've written dozens of practical articles to help adult Sunday School teachers and small-group leaders lead richer, more engaging Bible discussions. Click the button at left to see more.
